Swatched - Nails Inc Emerald Street

As you may or may not know, Pantone voted Emerald Green as 2013's Colour of the Year. I was over the moon at this because I love green, but I've been searching for the perfect green for months now.

I came across Emerald Street in a blog sale last week and I knew I had to have it.

Emerald Street is a super pigmented metallic emerald, thats pretty much a one coat polish if you're neat and careful. Pictures here show two coats of Emerald Street with one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri topcoat, but the polish by itself finished as quite shiny. The drying time was also quite speedy, as not many coats were needed to fully cover the nail.

The metallic nature of the polish gives it a really cool, almost blackened edge that make it perfect for autumn/winter.

Emerald Street is from the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection and is sadly no longer available from Nails Inc themselves, although if you poke around the web enough I'm sure you can pick up a bottle somewhere!
